Domestic Dwelling

The brief for this project was to design a small self-contained dwelling measuring 3m x 8m x 5m. One of the challenges in this project was that there was only one wall one which any windows could be put so I had to be creative with my use of natural light. The dwelling includes a bathroom, kitchen, sleeping area, dining area, lounge area and a study area.

The brief specified that I could choose any site for my dwelling to be located so I decided to challenge myself and chose a flood-prone area and the house would be for and average family of four.

Smoothie Bar Interior

This was one of my early interior design projects. The brief was to too design the interior of a Smoothie Bar based on the exterior measurements provided. This project was challenging because the gradient of the site changed and this had to be reflected inside, there also had to be accessible for wheelchair users and there had to be a mezzanine. I designed a logo and named it "Paradise".

Adam and Eve Mirror

This piece is another project from college; it is a mirror designed around the legend of Adam and Eve. I used waterstone clay and recycled mirrors. I like how the use of recycled materials reflects various elements of the Adam and Eve story.

Puppet Theatre

This is a project I done a few years ago at college and it is still one of my favourites. It is a portable puppet theatre and puppets based on the seven deadly sins. The main inspiration for this project was a Czech filmaker and artist called Jan Svankmajer.
